Lisbon & Portugal

Here are some photos from my trip to Portugal! I went with two friends I had traveled with before—these guys always make every trip 100% better. We started off in Lisbon and spent a couple of days exploring this beautiful city. It rained the whole time, but the weather didn’t take away from Lisbon’s charm. After soaking in the sights (and the nightlife), we hopped on a flight to Madeira—a Portuguese island off the coast of Africa that truly feels like the Hawaii of Europe. I haven’t been to Hawaii myself, but both of my friends have, and they said Madeira is even more stunning. They’d go back in a heartbeat. From the energy of Lisbon’s nightlife to the peaceful vibes of Madeira, the trip had the perfect balance. We spent our days in Madeira walking through lush landscapes, enjoying incredible food, and meeting the warmest people. It was a welcome contrast to our late nights in Lisbon. We wrapped up the trip by heading back to Lisbon for one final night out. We hit up Pink Street and made the most of our last evening, mixing in some beautiful sightseeing during the day.
